Modification of the Johnson–Cook Model for the Strain Rate Effect on Tensile Properties of 304/316 Austenitic Stainless Steels

چکیده
Abstract In this study, tensile tests of 304 and 316 austenitic stainless steels (ASS) at various strain rates were performed to investigate the rate effect on properties. It is shown that stress depends not only but also plastic level. Accordingly, a modification existing Johnson–Cook (J–C) model proposed incorporate interacting for ASS. The modified J–C can reduce difference from experimental data levels, compared model.
